Captured in intimate surroundings, usually just Ford and his guitar but also featuring cuts with a small band, the recordings are of his simple, Hank Williams-like originals and choice covers delivered in a dry Oklahoma accent. These songs will please any pure country fan tired of Nashville's schmaltzy methods.
