Charlie Hunter is an innovative jazz musician whose eight-string guitar allows him to play bass and guitar at the same time.
Joe Satriani was an early guitar teacher for Hunter.
His crazy guitar was designed by Ralph Novak of Novax Guitars.
Hunter played in the Monk, James Brown, Rahsaan Roland Kirk cover band, T.J. Kirk, before forming the Charlie Hunter Trio.
Since 1993, Hunter released an average of two records per year.
