With the schadenfreude brigade aching for them to trip up, Fischerspooner hit hard with an absolute winner, disappointing that contingent. The stomach-rumbling "Emerge" baseline and retro synth sounds are still in evidence, but the hypnotic lyrics and driving beats (especially on Jacques Lu Cont's Thin White Duke remix) keep things fresh and fabulous.
