Jeff Buckley
During his short-lived career, Jeff Buckley, born on November 17th, 1966 in Orange County, CA, USA, was seen as the incarnation of the tragic songsmith. Lonesome, passionate and bittersweet, he seemed not to be able to cope with fame. When Buckley was swallowed by the Mississippi river on May 29th, 1997, he sort of came full circle. He first tried out jazz, then released his first EP "Live at Sin-e" in '93. Just as the album "Grace", it was met by frenetic reviews. His own prophet, Buckley called his unfinished last project "The Last Goodbye".
