(NEW YORK) - New material from Garth Brooks, the Rolling Stones, Trisha Yearwood and Lyle Lovett is featured on the soundtrack to the forthcoming 20th Century Fox film Hope Floats.|
The first two singles from the Capitol soundtrack, due May 19, are Brooks' cover of Bob Dylan's "To Make You Feel My Love" and Bob Seger & Martina McBride's "Chances Are." The latter is Seger's first-ever duet; Brooks' song is his first-ever contribution to a soundtrack.
Produced by Don Was, the album will also include rarities and alternate versions of tunes by Sheryl Crow ("In Need"); Bryan Adams ("When You Love Someone"); andDeana Carter ("What Makes You Stay").
Hope Floats stars Sandra Bullock and Harry Connick, Jr.; it will be released May 29 to theaters across the U.S.
