NOFX are responsible for more sound-alike SoCal Skate Punk groups than any band since Bad Religion.
NOFX formed in 1983. Don Bolles of the Germs "produced" NOFX's first demo for the cost of a tank of gas.
NOFX is a take off of the name of an old Boston band, Negative FX.
At the 1998 Vans Warped tour in Houston, Tex., NOFX threw $5,000 in $1 bills into the crowd.
