Keysman Marco Benevento and drummer Joe Russo first came together in 2003 for several key sessions at NYC's Knitting Factory.
"The Duo," as they came to be known, play a post-rock/punk jazz hybrid with incredible prowess and energy.
Thanks to relentless touring and a killer LP release, they've become faves of the alt-jam crowd.
