Vieja Trova Santiaguera
The Cuban quintet Vieja Trova Santiaguera came together in the 1990's. The members are Francisco Cobas, Ricardo de los Santos, Reinaldo Creagh, Aristóteles Limonta and Reinaldo Hierrezuelo. Together they play a clever mixture of latin genres such as bolero, guaracha and son. By 1995, they began to penetrate the international music scene, touring extensively in Europe. Their third album, "Domino", was put out by Virgin France. They followed up its success by releasing "El Balcon del Adios" and "La Manigua" on the EMI International label.
