John Lewis
John Lewis formed the legendary Modern Jazz Quartet who were a part of the so-called "third stream movement", a musical direction involving the blending of jazz with classical elements. John Lewis also recorded solo material, of which the album "Evolution" is a prime example. It features eleven tracks including the famous Lewis original "Django", a version of "Sweet Georgia Brown", "Afternoon In Paris" plus "Two Degrees East, Three Degrees West". The album was mastered by Ted Jansen and engineered by E. Alan Silver and Patricia A. Duciaume. It was produced by Yves Beauvais and Ahmet Ertegun.
